HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Even though the day to celebrate it is most of the month away, I am very thankful to the Lord for His goodness and the good
things that happened this year. I am thankful for you and your continued interest in our patterns and what we are up to next that might be
just what you want to make for yourself or a loved one.
THE PATTERN ON SALE this month is Sweet Dreams baby quilt. This design is great for beginners and the soft colors make you want to cuddle that baby
and rock her (or him) to sleep!
QUILTING TIP: Be aware of how you are sewing the seams down between rows of blocks. Keeping the seam allowances evenly divided helps with ironing the
top and machine quilting if that is how you choose to finish your quilt. An easy way to do this is to sew the second long vertical seam
with the third row of blocks under the second row. When you sew the seam that way you can easily see which direction you have put
the seam allowance on the vertical seam before.
