Quitler's Tip |
Do you struggle with joining binding strips in finishing your quilt? Those 45º mitered joinings can be tricky. What I like to do is trim off the ends of my binding strips with a 45º cut. Then I match the ends leaving a 1/4" point extending beyond the strips on both sides. Be sure to trim all the ends in the same direction. Once sewn you know that you have a perfect mitered seam in your binding. Try it! |
