First of all-I want to wish you Christmas blessings and a very good 2007. I hope we can grow together and experience new steps in our
quilting journeys. I hope you will learn new skills and add more quilts to your list of accomplishments of finer needlework and artistry.
THE PATTERN ON SALE this month is Winter Friends wall hanging. This quilt is easy with fusible web appliques and simply pieced blocks.
We also have the Winter Friends tablemat and placemat pattern available too.
Our news this month is that we will be having some patterns offered on a new website called Quilt-E-Patterns.com. This site offers patterns
from designers that are not paper but are downloaded and printed from your home printer, pdt format. You don't need anything special to
print them. My daughter is getting married this month so I hope to be up and running on the site in January with 6 patterns for sale. My pattern
price will drop to per pattern because I won't be printing them. I hope you check out the website. It has 5 or more designers on it now. Of
course our own website here won't change. I will still be here each day designing and offering you beautiful and creative patterns.
QUILTING TIP: Have you had your sewing machine cleaned and oiled lately? You should clean around the bobbin and oil that area every third new
bobbin of thread. I know that some machines don't let you into that area to oil it but be sure to brush it out that frequently. Your best
friend (your sewing machine) should be taken to a professional and cleaned and completely oiled once a year.
