Cottage Quilt Designs April 2006

In this month we are launching out first newsletter to you our friend and customer. Our newsletters will be new each month with news,
promotions, and a quilting tip you might be able to use in your upcoming projects.

  • Check the box if you would like to receive this newsletter each month.

  • Your email address will be kept confidential within
    our business only.
  • LET ME KNOW what quilting patterns you would like to see in the future on our site. Do you like oriental, the 1930's designs, or more baby
quilts? I love to get feed back from you.

IN MAY WE will include a sales page with three patterns put on sale for that month.

QUILTING TIP: a question I hear often is whether fabric should be washed before you begin sewing. My answer is to ask how they want their
quilt to look like after the binding is on. Do they like the puckered antique look? Then don't wash your fabric, put your quilt together, and wash and dry it after the binding is on. But I do advise testing the fabric to see if it's color fast so that you won't be disappointed if colors run after that first washing. I recommend rubbing a wet cu-tip on the fabric. If the tip stays white then the dye is color fast.

BE SURE TO ask me any questions you might have about the patterns.

    Happy and successful quilting!
    Rochelle Martin
